Ken and Karla spend another "comfortable" night at home. Their lives are always very comfortable, a fact to which they repeatedly refer. Any disturbance either by way of TV, career opportunity from a friend, intruding neighbors-even a life-threatening piece of popcorn stuck in Karla's throat-is met with their same commitment to remain comfortable.
