The Comedy of the Insane

The comedy of the insane is about the journey of Dante Corazzesi, a young fresh graduated in psychology who lives in a fictional present where the Basaglia law has never been proposed. This allowed the asylums to undisputedly expand, generating the M.H.C., Mental Health Centre. Dante will end up encaged in the most frightening centre, that of Florence, where pavilion after pavilion he will find out every method used to treat the psyche of the subjects defined as "insane". Though, the scenario is not going to remain so: some of the patients, indeed, have set up an organization, the Resilience, to try to fight the M.H.C. from the inside. But the Chief of the clinic has his cards to play too, the most cunning and ruthless Italian criminologist: Dr. Virgilio Guidi.
