The Columbian

A very enjoyable find. I love this genre of book and picked this one up on spec. It was a real page-turner, with believable characters, an intriguing plot, and written in an easy to read style. I look forward to more books by this author.

Very enjoyable reading

This book is much more than just another drug war story. The twists and turns it takes led me through the maze of the lives of the characters as they came alive and I felt the pain and suffering of Christian when he lost his family. I wanted revenge for young Juan and felt sympathy for the innocent, naive Joe Mann as he gets tangled in the web of the Mafia. As the story ended I found that I wanted to know more about the continuing lives of these individuals. Very enjoyable reading in spite of the violence that runs through the story.

A pleasure to read from beginning to end

This wasn't your typical drug lord book with little plot. The author combines a love story and Mafia crime with great success. The plot has plenty of twists that keep the reader guessing until the end. This book is definitely worth a look.
