Welcome to the Collegiate Athletic Finder (CAF), publications for High School and Junior College Athletes to quickly narrow your hunt for a college that offers your sport. The CAF manual's unique 'sport-to-college matrices' presented in Section A can reduce days, if not weeks, from your search. This CAF volume presents NAIA West and Central West Conferences. Other CAF manuals under construction are: -NCAA Division II East And Central East Conferences -NCAA Division II West And Central West Conferences -NCAA Division III East And Central East Conferences -NCAA Division III West And Central West Conferences -NAIA East And Central East Conferences Section A views colleges geographically, since this is how collegiate conferences are organized. Most students, parents, and coaches first look for colleges instate, since tuitions to public colleges are less than private colleges. After developing a list of potential schools of interest, you will proceed to Section B, where two pages of specific data are presented for each college. Unique features in Section B are the presentation of detailed entry requirements for most colleges and of each college's curriculum. Searches then broaden out to conferences in other regions of the United States. Space is provided on each page for notes on respective colleges and universities. There is no need to keep a separate summary sheet application organizer. All your notes will be on each college's pages. And, you will have Sports Information Director, Coach, and Admission contact information. All NCAA and NAIA colleges and universities are excellent collegiate institutions. The question is: 'Which college meets your individual needs?' After you narrow your search, you will find more information on each college by viewing each web site to give you the college's atmosphere and application procedures. Data presented in this CAF manual was compiled between 2003 and 2010. Due to the ever-changing nature of administering collegiate institutions, data is never completely up to date. However, the data presented in the CAF manuals should give you an excellent short list. You then need to contact the collegiate representatives to finalize your choice. Earning a college degree is a process, beginning by finding the right college for you. Enjoy your collegiate experience.
