a good, little basic book

This is a very basic biblical commentary. You will get a feel for the book you are reading and a brief , very brief in some cases, summary of the chapter and verses in each book. What you won't get in many cases is an analysis of the particular verses your may be reading. Of course in such a small package, it is too much to expect that kind of detail. If you require more detail, there are lots of larger more complete commentaries available. To have something with maps and pictures that is pocket book sized with a hard cover, this does a good basic job in a really small package. I bought mine from a reseller at a fabulous price and got way more than I actually paid for. Would still be a reasonably good buy at the full price.
