A collectors guide to price fixing

How do several collectors increase the value of their collection? By publishing a book with photos, descriptions and a value attached to each example. A true book devoted to a hobby would have history. This book doesn't even come close to detailing the who, what why and when of these ink stands. The same thing can be seen in other office appliance hobbies. When a collector establish the price guide to benefit himself, you would be wise to look elsewhere. The value of an ink stand is what you are willing to pay for it and what the owner is willing to sell it for.
