THE CODED LETTER is an adventure story about a young, pretty divorcee who works as a paralegal (lawyer's assistant) in a distinguished Chicago law firm. She goes to Cairo, Egypt on two missions: first, to reconnect with her high-school sweetheart, a football hero, now a diplomat in the U.S. Embassy in Cairo; and second, to carry out dangerous espionage for her law firm. This brings her into confrontations with Middle Eastern terrorists, a corrupt high-level government official, and a beautiful, villainous Egyptian businesswoman.
