The women he has wronged oppose him, but a wealthy developer helps Ivan cheat his way to the top. James Ivan van Waffl Thommson, is a student at St Brats College. He is driven by his base desires, which he indulges through his role as the head of a dining club. Lazy, arrogant, and dishonest, he has always managed to evade the repercussions of his actions, leading him to believe that consequences are not a concern, no matter what he does.

Ivan treats women as playthings and trophies that should be bent to his will. The collision of his academic laziness and his riotous dining lead to him being threatened with expulsion for plagiarism. To avoid the hard work required to catch up with his studies, Ivan is advised to run for Union President, giving him a year away from coursework and gaining value for his CV.
