Princess Sophia Tessel Manni was the first daughter that King Paul Manni the III married off to secure the borders of his kingdom of Doeshia. It was the first of many moves to create a gap from The Great War in the east with other countries as a buffer. However, the House of Voltare of Lexpathia is not as receptive of her presence. The hatred between the Lexpathan culture versus the Doeshan one have caused a rift between Sophia's husband and her. It was clear that she was only a treaty that left her to produce sons. She managed one within the first year.
When the Mannese declared war on Doeshia, the House of Voltare was murdered from an elite military unit called the Fornacks. It was only by chance that she was not there for the massacre. Alone and a ruler of a country locked in chaos, the now dubbed Queen Sophia Tessel Manni Voltare must overcome the prejudices of being a female, Doeshan, and a mother to save the sovereignty of Lexpathia as a country. There is a power play amongst the royal court that does not want her to be successful. It will take a step in diplomacy and some warrior tactics to keep the sharks at bay. Sophia is up to the challenge, but wonders about her soul over the harsh decisions she would have to make as a ruler.
