The Climate Imaginary reflects on a global collection of design works that are engaged with the social, political and cultural transformations anticipated with climate change.

With the climate emergency dominating our collective consciousness, the design field has mobilized to engage with the social, political and cultural transformations anticipated with the effects of this crisis. There has also been a corresponding widening to the spectrum of climate-informed design explorations, going beyond the technical imperatives of sustainability.

The Climate Imaginary brings together a global collection of works which provide a sample of this plurality. This pluralism reverberates more explicitly with the scope of disruptions that will affect all aspect of our lives.
