Book Overview
For years, young people sat across from Tamara Glazier in chairs too big for them, shoulders hunched beneath the weight of stories that had already been written about who they were. Still forming. Still learning how to understand the world. What she witnessed in those sessions was not merely behavioral difficulty or developmental turbulence - it was what happens when a human container, still porous, still taking shape, is filled with things it never chose: labels, projections, shame, unresolved trauma.
These young people were not broken. They were overfilled.
The Clear Container is Glazier's answer to a promise she made herself years ago - to help level the playing field for how we understand human struggle, and to remind us that what we call "dysfunction" is often a completely rational response to what's been poured into us. This is a book about remembering what the container was before it became crowded, and about the radical, tender work of clearing it - not to become someone new, but to finally make space for who you have always been.
Because the clearest container is never empty. It is honest. It is breathable. It is free. And it is waiting.
