The Big 6th Grade class trip day

When the Sweet Valley Middle School 6th graders go on their class trip to Enchanted Forest,Elizabeth is mad at Jessica because she broke her promise to Jessica to sit with her on the bus,and she has to sit next to the gossip,Caroline Pierce, and Jess sits next to Lila. on the King Something's Castle, and is entered in a world or knights. She meets a Princess Charity[A little girl] who's parents and brothers have been captured by Prince Kendrick? Elizabeth thinks of a way to let the Parents, brothers and villiage people out of a bird cage. Elizabeth used a camera to distract the evil knights. When Everyone was free,Jessica was captured and taken to the Queen of Drudgery. Elizabeth meets a sea serpent named Semour? and Tom Sawyer. She also meets a mouse who can talk named Allegra.Everyone is chained, and forced to turn rocks into grovel.Johnny Buck comes from a flying limo wearing purple gloves[I love gloves] Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable wear gloves when they go on their missions. and Johnny was also wearing Purple Boots,I can't think of what other color he was wearing. The Queen of Drudgery is stopped by Johnny Buck's singing. The Queen's slaves are free. Then a witch takes Jessica,She cast a spell over Fairy Tale Land. Peter Pan is a Grown-Up Accountant,Thumbleina is big and can't find her prince. Rapunzel is bald. Elizabeth and Jessica stop the witch by laughing. It was all a dream, when Elizabeth hit her head on a ride.

"Finally, it's the day for their big adventure!"

Well, technically, it's just Elizabeth Wakefield's big adventure, but Liz, her twin sister Jessica, and their entire sixth-grade class get to visit Enchanted Forest for the day. While there, Elizabeth stumbles into a magical realm as she searches for her missing sister in Fairy Tale Land, starting with King Abelard's Castle. In this medieval kingdom, Liz befriends and helps Princess Charity, whose family has been captured by the evil King Nestor, who also captured Jessica. He later passes Jess off, though, to the Queen of Drudgery and her sorceress ally, Grisolda; both of whom keep her as a slave.Liz follows her sister's trail, meeting various talking animals (Allegra, a mouse; and Sidney the sea serpent), visiting an underwater Atlantis, and even running into popular Sweet Valley rock star, Johnny Buck. Yet this fantasy adventure wouldn't be complete without a few other literary/fairy tale characters thrown in, like Tom Sawyer, Rapunzel, Thumbelina, Hansel and Gretel, Peter Pan, and even the white rabbit from "Alice in Wonderland" (which this book mimics somewhat in the "tripping", out-of-body sense)."The Class Trip" (the first Super Edition in the Sweet Valley Twins series) is one of my favorite guilty pleasures from childhood. Even my younger sister, who doesn't like Sweet Valley books at all, reread this one just as many times as I did when were kids. Ideal for preteen girls and SV fans.

Good ol' Francine Pascal

I must've read this book about a million times! I love the way she puts so much imagination into it! The whole thing with Tom Sawyer is really good. I've grown out of Sweet Valley Twins now, but I probably read almost all of them twice! And this was one of my favorites.

Way worth it!

This is a wonderful story especially for imaginative children. When Elizabeth hits her head at a fun park, she is tossed into a weird fantasy world. The back cover of this book in fact describes it as an AliceinWonderland type adventure.Elizabeth meets many fairytale characters, some lovely, some evil.So if you or your child likes Enid-Blyton-type,magical adventurers, you cannot miss this one.One that is even better is The magic christmas(also in this series).

Liked it very much!

Fairy tale type books aren't really my style, but this was was really cool. I think that anyone who like this series should buy this book! It had kind of a twist at the end, which is cool. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it was predictable what was going to happen. I would reccommend this book if you like the series, if you like fairy tales, or if you like story ending twists! Enjoy!
