For a few seconds the boy was frozen with amazement, without understanding the scene, without knowing what the hair on the ground, the shaved head or that razor in his father's hand that shone a few millimeters from his mother's bent neck meant. When he managed to come to his senses, a terrible scream...

That same night the two soldiers disappeared during their shift and soon realized that the boat was not there either. The men, terrified of their comrades' deaths, fled down the river...
