The City Ever Green

The City Ever Green written and illustrated by Bonnie Paruch

This inspirational children's book is about the web of life in a great forest, children who loved a tree, and the restoration of a city's wild spaces. The story begins in a great green forest where people and nature live in harmony. When urban development threatens their environment, and the last Mother Oak tree is destroyed, a group of children take action. Their efforts inspire their neighbors to rewild their city. Working together they reclaim damaged land, restore tiny forests and parks, and create urban gardens. The book's evocative words and colorful collage illustrations assure children that they can make a positive difference in their community and world.

This uplifting book is a must for any child who enjoys being in outside in nature; walking in the woods and or playing in the park. It is a great gift for the budding naturalist and inquisitive child in your life.
