Greatly Enjoyed

My 5 year old loved this book! The story about Nick getting lost at the circus, overcoming his fear and trusting the helpful clown captivated my son. Colorful illustrations that weren't chaotic or forboding enhanced the story. We have read it many times, at my little boy's request. The story has also given us an opportunity to discuss the possibility of becoming separated in a crowd, and the fact that most people are compassionate to children in such a situation. The reassuring ending reinforces the book's message not to panic and to seek help from a trustworthy adult. Great story, fun pictures!
