The apostolic letters are intended for churches or individuals: it is the Word of God! . The Apocalypse gives an extraordinary vision from the apostolic era to the end of the world: Seven Churches, Seven Seals, Seven Trumpets. Christ reveals his precious love there, pointing out his faults, promising victory to those who really desire it. Chronologically unfolding a panorama in seven letters for each: 1) Ephesus (apostolic period); - The Nicolaitans favor worldliness. 2) Smyrna (the persecutions) - From the year 100 to 313 AD. 3) Pergamon (compromise with the State) - Period between the 4th and the middle of the 6th century. Satan and Constantine popularized Baptism, forcing the army to do so. 4) Thyatira (Babylonian apostasy) Dark-age spiritual darkness or Black-Age 5) Sardis (reform) from the 15th to the 17th century AD. Beginning of formal Protestantism. Shouldn't we be looking at Hitler's struggle from Luther's writings? 6) Philadelphia (brotherly love) - Great awakening. 7) Laodicea (contemporary Christianity) From the 19th century to the return of Christ. A boastful clericalism, lukewarm and worldly, for the New World Order against the 144,000 of Christ.
