The Church on Bad Cow Road

Tom Wilson recalls his carefree life on his Montana farm in the '50s. Summer days provide an endless supply of adventure, learning and hard knocks. His dad, Henry, is his hero. Shadowing him around the farm is his entertainment because Henry can fix anything and is passing his jack-of-all-trades reputation on to his sons. So, Tommy tries his luck at building some of his own projects, but his lack of experience sometimes leads to disaster. Overcoming trouble is made easier by his whimsical outlook on life which helps him to meet the challenges that come his way. But while his family is content with their quiet life, the people at the nearby Arway Country Church seem to cast a shadow on them, and particularly, Henry, who likes to ride his tractor around in circles as he plows his crops on Sunday morning. Tommy is troubled by some of the church people who drive his dad crazy. But, just in the nick of time, someone else arrives to bring peace and healing to a community that had come very close to self-destruction.
