If the Church is the bride of Christ, what would it look like for the Church to be a (or the) Proverbs 31 woman?

Looking at the original Hebrew and diving verse by verse into Proverbs 31:10-31 to unpack what is known as the Proverbs 31 woman provides insight into the character traits of this woman of valor. Additionally, a common Hebrew literary form is noted in this portion of scripture and used to gain greater understanding. The literary form used is an acrostic where each line (or what we commonly know as each verse) begins with a letter of the Hebrew alphabet - starting with the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet and culminating with the last letter. While doing this can make memorization easier, it can also be a way of implying complete coverage of a topic - from A to Z or in Hebrew, from aleph to tav.

Combining this with the fact that the Church is often described as the bride of Christ, this book provides insight into the traits of a Proverbs 31 woman - and more specifically, what it would look like for the Church to be a (or the) Proverbs 31 woman...from A to Z or from aleph to tav.

So even if the Church isn't necessarily the one being referred to as the woman of valor in Proverbs 31, what harm could come from the Church exploring this and being a woman of valor?

The Bride of Christ Shines in the Old Testament!

If you’ve heard the Church is the bride of Christ and wondered how that works, this book will goes straight to the capable and virtuous woman in Proverbs! In this raw, edited book are things I have been thinking for several years and have been recording in my own journals. It’s refreshing to read the thoughts and suggestions of a fellow Christ-bearer who sees the the same things I see. I wish I could meet this and speak to this author! This book and “Distorted Definitions” are both intriguing thoughts about words and ideas we often simply accept without looking deeper into their meanings.
