It uses the metamorphosis of the caterpillar into the butterfly to symbolize to children that they are all made unique by God, so that each child can see their own value and potential.Tamara was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, which is where she currently resides. At age fifteen, she was baptized and accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She loves writing poetry, which later led to her writing children's books using her spiritual gift. Although, she was never able to have children on her own, she strives to be a positive influence in the lives of children. She has served as a mentor through the Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) program, a mentor through the Take Stock in Children (TSIC) program, a guardian ad Litem (GAL), and has volunteered in the children's ministry at her church for over twenty years. Her passion is to share the love of Jesus with children and is the inspiration behind her books.
