If you love someone who is totally unreasonable, aggravating and downright infuriating, welcome to the club. Trying to get along with someone you just can't seem to get along with, is one of the most frustrating adventures a person can ever undertake. I should know, I spent 14 miserable years trying to figure out how to love a Jerk. I read books, went to counseling, and couples retreats, only to take one step forward and two steps backward. There were times when I really did think I would go insane. With no one to confide in and no one, I knew who would understand. I battled on alone, relying on God to teach me and guide me. Relying on Him to comfort and encourage me and show me the way. Some of what God taught me was almost too obvious and simple. Some was outrageous and daring, with just as outrageous of results. Some was profound and revealing causing me to sit back and say "Wow God, you are really good". I'd like to share with you the insights and wisdom I received from God during this trying and lonely journey.
