This book is a wonderful book because it brings Moms and Daughters together more closely.It is fun to do because it has crafts and games you can play with your mom.It is a good book because it encourages to read more in the Bible, and to talk to your mom more.I enjoyed this book very much!

Promoting healthy mother/daughter communication

The author uses stories, crafts, games and other activities to encourage healthy communication between mothers and daughters. Hilton challenges the prevailing idea that "It's not cool" to have a loving and respectful mother/daughter relationship. The text includes many ingeniously updated stories from the Bible. Games and quizzes stimulate reflection on various aspects of the mother/daughter relationship. The target audience appears to be 10 to 12 year old girls (+/- two years)and I think that this book will be interesting enough to this group to take some time away from music CDs and television. The book is a bargain. It includes 175 pages of stories and activities, enough to keep a young girl busy for many hours.
