Ruhi Swamy was born in Bangalore on July 4, 2014. A student at Greenwood High, she has been a voracious reader from the start, remarkably completing over 200 books by the age of seven. Her own literary journey began at the age of four, and she hasn't put down her pen since.

Writing is in her DNA; she is inspired by her grandfather, an author of several books, and her mother, who shares her love for poetry. Her father played a pivotal role in her creative journey by bringing home a variety of pets to keep her company, helping her develop a deep sense of compassion that ultimately led her to write this book.

Ruhi's stories are born from her lively home-a mini-zoo shared with dogs, hamsters, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Though some might disagree, she finds rats to be some of the cutest creatures on earth Chew Crew is her debut book, inspired by the antics of her furry family. She is already busy working on her second book-the plot of which remains a strictly guarded secret
