Humorous Book.... misleading description.

Book is humorous and would make a good gift for frugal friends who will enjoy the funny comments. My dislike is that the description states it gives frugal tips when in fact, it really doesn't. It pokes humor but not real good and for that reason, I gave it a three.

What a fun book!!

A fun and reasonably priced book that makes a great gift and/or coffee table book. Cheapisms that make you laugh as well as cheapisms to "secretly" apply to your own life. Buy a book today! Live cheap & prosper:)

Conversation Starter

The Cheap Book is one heck of a conversation starter at our parties for friends. In it one's frugal and sometimes bizarre idiosyncrasies are laid bare. If the reader doesn't get them, the guest looking over his or her shoulder surely will!

Poor Richard's Almanac II

Super Book! It accomplishes four things: 1) pokes fun at "friends", 2) provides a mirror as you see yourself, 3) Ben Franklin would smile at these tips, 4) Very entertaining!

Hey, I do that too!

This book is great! It captured wonderfully the odd little habits and practices that are a part of my daily routines that I never really thought about as cheap before. I brought a copy of the Cheap Book into work and it was fun to hear my coworkers laugh out loud as they too recognize their cheap habits. It triggered many fun discussions as we confessed to each other all our similar money saving behaviors. Who knew there we're so many people that are walking around with holes in their socks and nylons!

Comical, practical, and educational

This is a great read - very entertaining. The Cheap Book captures the whimisical side of being cheap, and I giggled at those things I recognize in myself while taking note of new tips. I have enjoyed every page of it, and even my daughters have exclaimed "Mom does that too!" Everyone can identify with this book and if you can't, you should learn to! I plan to give copies to my cheap friends and co-workers and especially to my wasteful associates. I highly recommend this book. Every household should have a copy as a reference!
