Terrible, written at a 6th grade reading level

If you want to read about murdered girls in disturbing detail, go at it. This book is written at a 6th grade reading level, so it will rot your brain. I had to stop 1/4 way through. That's what I get for trying a book recommended by Good Morning America. This book is written for that braindead audience, so keep that in mind.

Fascinating! I had a hard time putting it down.

Loved the special powers of the lead characters. Funny scary empowering. Content of evil and revenge. Payback One of the most engrossing books I have read. Highly recommend.

Great story for empowering women

I enjoyed reading The Change so much! It is full of feminine anger that is properly directed, and reminds women that our lives aren't actually "over" when we are past child-bearing, but are coming into our own with many productive and fulfilling years left to find ourselves further. It touched on topics that are often overlooked while unraveling a mystery.

One of the best fiction books I’ve ever read

Absolutely one of a kind. I adore this book and recommend it to everyone. I think it’s brilliant. Miller captures how society belittles menopausal women so well and in so many ways. The mystery, spookiness, and depth of so many characters is really masterful. Love it

Some good spots but that's it

I liked the premise of older women taking back their power and normally, I would love a book that explores anything even slightly supernatural, but this fell flat for me. There were a couple of spots where I laughed out loud but during most of this book, I just wanted it over. It did have a good ending, though, so that's why I gave it two stars.
