I'd buy it again.

This is not a 'how to' book but can serve you well as a brief historical overview of a good selection of imagery used in a 'narrative' way. I am finding it a good source of inspiration for ideas for my own work. Another of Ostermann's books, "The Ceramic Surface", gives a little more information regarding the formation process of a particular piece. Overall, I'm glad I ordered this book and have it in my library as a resource.
