The Cat of Rukstad (The Opal Throne Quartet)

By Rob Wheeler

Finding just one life dull, Hugo Rigg has lived many. He has been a forger, sailor, duelist, smuggler, artist, actor, burglar, con-man, valet, and student. Born a farmer's son, he has slept in palaces fit for royalty and in cages unfit for beasts. He has known scoundrels and saints, warriors, and wizards and, through it all, he has been what he was born to be, an incomparable thief, emptying purses and stealing hearts at his whim. None could dispute that Hugo Rigg has lived more than most, but there is one thing he has never allowed himself to be, raising the question: can the Cat of Rukstad be a hero?

The third volume of THE OPAL THRONE QUARTET takes the reader to Remali, a thriving city-state on the shores of the glittering Aegeatic. Can a not-so-humble thief escape his own past and begin yet another life?
