Loved it!!

Excellent story about drama and social issues in a small town. Very good character development. And many lessons in how NOT to raise your children! Jan T

A mundane story made interesting

Rowling takes what should be a boring story and somehow makes it interesting. Small town drama keeps you turning the pages. Very well written.

Torture

Tried to keep going...even got past page 100, but could go no further. Was like a descent into Dante Inferno.

Depressing

I tried but couldn’t force myself to keep reading past the first few pages. So sorry, because I think JK Rowling is a brilliant author, but his is just an expose of the worst in humanity.
