A terrifying explanation of where we are heading

This book by Ian Gurney is packed with quotes and information, which show that there is much more than a casual coincidence between the state of the planet now and the writings of many prophets, including the holy words of the bible. Ian has put these writings together in a readable way like I have never seen before to give a terrifying explanation of where we are heading during the first part of the 21st century.The reader needs to be prepared to follow some amazing facts and is required reading for anyone who is concerned about the future. Although this book was written prior to the September 11th attack on New York it might well have been written yesterday.

You must read this book.

When I first picked up the book I was sceptical about prophecy, but Gurney has changed my mind. This book mirrors exectly what is happening in the world today and is a frightening indictment of the world we live in. There is a war coming and Judgement Day is not far off. Prepare yourself now and read this book. It will change the way you think about the future. A very worthwhile read, but scary.

Defininately well worth a read.

This is the most interesting book I have read for over a year and after September 11 the events and predictions discussed in this book make even more chilling sense. Ian has come up with a "formula" linking events which is simplicity itself. He shows how events in the past are inextricable linked to dates in the future. Gurney also quotes from many different sources, The Bible, Nostradamus, Saint Malachy..etc. He links them together and explains his research in such a way that the reader can be left in no doubt about his conclusions.His logic is impeccable. This book will be remembered for cutting through the dogma that'Learned Scholars' espouse in the same way that Graham Hancock has done with his books.Well worth a read.

Every reader has a book that he or she is proud to own. The Cassandra Prophecy is that book for me. Mr. Gurney's thorough research into the prophecies of the Bible and of Nostradamus has resulted in a fascinating book that gives fresh insight into some of the most cryptic endtime prophecies ever written. As an avid student of endtime prophecy, I sometimes run across books containing pure opinion and speculation, which have no legs to stand on historically. Not so with The Cassandra Prophecy. Mr. Gurney relies on the Bible, Nostradamus, and secular history to make his point. Read this book to learn what is really going on. Buy this book!

Ian Has used his insight

Based on Biblical stance, and Ian is super versed, the author has put together a real world description. That being what our current environment is has caused Ian to deduce what will take place. The fact that Armageddon being predicted within the next 20 or so years has to do with our current environment, and also authors longevity. Meaning if he were wrong he has time to....I felt that the story was on the scales well, but could not pinpoint why the final conflict would be in this time frame. Karl Mark Maddox has a Book called SB 1 or God that describes the Battle of Armageddon in extreme high detail, which is worldwide but the main battle in the Plains of Jezreal and Megiddo. Karls book is more convincing as to why it will be in year 2020. Maddox did 2 years ago predict WTC buildings being blown up as well as the new F 35 and the Bio attacks and mentions such things as the USA will be forced into a much stricter way of life due to the current war so I do go with Karl on his predictions, which support and concur with Ians. The book of Daniel by itself only generalizes as to the end time, But when Ian relates to current events there is some support, but still not solid footing for such a prediction.
