The Station participated in international forestry development by training foreign students, contacts with tropical foresters both here and in their own countries, and by dissemination of forestry information Of international significance.

The Station trained six foreign students during the year, from Malaya, Costa Rica, Thailand, Honduras, Java, and Ecuador. The period of training of these students ranged from a few days to three months. They were shown or participated in forest administration, research, and extension. In addition the Station received visits from for esters or technicians in allied fields from Brazil, the British Virgin Islands, Haiti, Sweden, France, Paraguay, and Surinam.
