Book Overview

"A thrill-packed historical romance of the American Frontier" The Montgomery Advertiser

It's 1779. Rifleman and woodsman Adam Frane, wintering alone in the forests of Kentucky, rescues a white girl from the Cherokees who kidnapped her as a child. At first the savage and wild Nita fights him, in every way she can, but over time, she decides that she doesn't want to escape... that she wants him. But so does Cynthia Wyeth, a lovely widow, who is waiting for Adam back in Virginia, and she's skilled at getting what she wants. The two women must battle for the man they love in an in a violent, untamed land.
