THE CANDY MONSTER

By: ASHLEY DAWN MORRIS

The Candy Monster follows seven year old Kevin as he investigates candy mysteriously disappearing from trick-or-treat bags. Using clues and a jingling decoy bag, he catches Niblet a tiny blue monster who steals candy because he feels left out of Halloween. Kevin teaches Niblet that taking from others causes sadness, while asking and sharing create friendship. After apologizing, Niblet receives his own costume and joins Kevin for an honest night of trick-or-treating.
