The Call to Courage (Back to Ase)

By Taleice "Twilight Ma'at" Johnson

There are many wonderful things that each individual on the planet can manifest into his/hers' existence, when the individual is aware of the powerful energy inside. Self-empowerment transcends race, age, sex, creed, disability, social, economic and political status however it would appear that being unempowered is the standard in society. There are many unempowering media images, traditions, code of ethics and limiting belief systems that serve as anchors to the soul."The Call to Courage" exposes the first layer in self-salvation by challenging some of the societal, mental and emotional "anchors" thought to be hurled on to the human spirit. The author Twilight Ma'at writes from her unique experience as an inner city youth born and raised on the south side of Chicago. Twilight Ma'at offers "The Call to Courage" as the first volume of her soon to be mini-series: "Back to Ase". This manuscript features insights strong enough to relate to a mystic, sage, healer or spiritualist but down to earth enough for the everyday working class individual. Take a journey with Twilight Ma'at as she inspires and cultivates critical thinking and an out of the box mentality.
