It's 2024 and the United States is in chaos. Many in the country no longer believed that every person had a right to pursue happiness. Rights were only for those who agreed with them. Half of the country seemed intent on telling the other half how to live-damn be the country, damn be its institutions, and damn be the Constitution.

But one call could change all that.

Unknown to almost all of humanity, the universe is divided into Harmonious and Disharmonious planets. Harmonious planets all share in the knowledge that truth and morality are constants throughout the universe, and they live in harmony with the universe. Disharmonious species, however, care only for themselves and they use their power only to take and destroy all who are not like them.

In 1776, a Harmonious species-Kalecians, from the planet Kalec-chose to guide George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, and Thomas Jefferson to win the Revolutionary War and establish the United States of America. They hoped that the principles and values enshrined in the new government would serve as a model for all of humanity and guide it toward the achievement of harmony. But things have not gone as planned.

Humanity's only chance now is that when the Kalecians left, they hid, throughout the new United States, parts of a device that could be used to call on the Kalecians, if help was once again needed. Now, it is up to main characters Abigail and George to do whatever it takes to make one call to save humanity. Or die trying.
