The first quick reference guide to AT&T's Release 3.0 of C ++. Designed to be a C++ "programmer's companion," this guide allows you to look up techniques for using language features and presents... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This is the best handbook i have ever fallen in love with.I stopped referring to other C++ books after I had it.In fact i use it to prepare notes for my teaching classes.Very crisp and up to point covers all aspects of C & C++.Important concepts that I picked up from this book, for example are how to instantiate an object with no default ctor inside another class, how will compiler distinguish between a postfix and prefix operator when overloading for a class. A must have book for any serious C++ programmer.Wish similar kind of book for Java. This book is written by someone who has been coding for a while.
Very good, but outdated.

Great book, lets you quickly find the information on C++ syntax you always forget. Unfortunately the newer features like exceptions, the new casting operators and the revised standard C++ library are missing. A new release would be in order. Martin Stein, SAP Technology Inc.
