The buyer of illusions

By Caio Antonio Carlos Ferreira

This is a novel that only exposes dilemmas, characters, choices and beliefs, in a simple way, leading us to reflections about two worlds; the physical, in which all the choices made will bring future consequences to oneself, and to the second, the spiritual, which even though it does not have the right to choose, is obliged to follow it, and to conclude it. Pedro, is an ambitious young banker, orphaned from a very early age, raised by relatives, he got there with a lot of effort. Focused on his work, but open to any way he leverages him, towards his goal. Secretly in love with the beautiful Valkyrie, a friend from his small circle of friends. Pedro, through the supernatural help of the spirits, allied to him, finally manages to take a leap in life, being promoted to office, and in addition, he gets the great love of his life. From then on, through the help of the father of his beloved, Valkyrie, the soft life takes off. His social level was no longer the same, but his dubious character occasionally betrayed him, and in this way, he made mistakes in his conduct, by satisfying the lust of his flesh, prioritizing it. Soon came decadence, all his patrimony collapsing, his beloved, more and more distant. A somewhat bizarre encounter with a stranger could bring back everything he lost, as long as he did everything exactly as he was told, that is: A pact with the devil himself. He tried, but Satan did not come. He discovers that he is contaminated with the HIV virus, disappears. Everyone thinks that being dead, however, reappears... Caio Ferreira
