I found The Butterfly Net quite refreshing in characterization. I am tired of perfect characters displaying superhuman qualities. The characters were human. This novel covers an extremely serious topic, and unfortunately, these kinds of crimes do bring out the worst in people. Greenville was small town, and the characters were completely out of their element. The editing needed improving, that's why I gave it four stars.I have children and after reading this it made me view the computer in a different way.

This author kept me captivated from sitting to sitting...The characterization was fabulous and I felt myself asking, "Oh, I wonder what Kristen is going to do today..." I truly was amazed at how the reader was pulled into the story and how realistic the details were...I felt like I was actually at the landfill in that small mid-western town! I also felt that the plot was developed and moved at precisely the right pace...Amber needs to publish her next work quickly! One last thing...this isn't a fluff piece. The truth is that something like this could happen if we aren't aware of how internet predators think.
