The Butcher of St George's
Not an incompetent evil surgeon but part of my experiences of life in the NHS as a Cook/Butcher in the Catering Department of St George's, Hyde Park Corner and later as an Operating Theatre technician and of course as a Patient.
Author Robert Howe is extremely well-travelled and with a wealth of experience gained from a diverse range of careers from the NHS to time in the Diplomatic Service and the Merchant Navy. Now retired, Robert lives near his favourite city, Chester, where he continues his attachment to the NHS as a Governor at the Countess of Chester Hospital.
