Having been on business travels for over 2 decades, I have accumulated several stories and experiences that I have captured on notes scribbled over the years. The non-travelling years of 2020 and 2021 due to Covid-19 have prompted me to reflect on these travels and the stories collected, and I felt this is an opportune time to put these stories and feelings into a book to share with fellow business travellers and with all who miss the magic in business travelling.

This book gives a light-hearted read with stories including how to sleep well and stay healthy whilst on the road, travelling alone, sleeping through a hotel fire alarm in London, sharing a hotel room with a stranger in Los Angeles, getting a nasty bout of food poisoning in China, planting a tree in a Brazilian plantation, insightful chats with strangers, scrambling to get an air ticket before Hurricane Rita strikes, going on a bleisure trip with colleagues, various first-time experiences in business travelling, falling into the gap between the train and the platform at London Paddington station, how Covid-19 has turned business travels to virtual meetings, etc.
