In this book, children are shown why bullying is bad and why they should form friendships instead. A pony named Pokey is born with visual birth defects and is later bullied at school by other ponies. Pokey becomes very depressed and doesn't want to go to school anymore. But with the encouragement of his parents and prophetic tumbleweed Pokey continues on. As time goes on Pokeys visual defects diminish and Pokey transforms into a beautiful Unicorn! The ponies that bullied Pokey are shocked when they see hoe Pokey is loved and admired by everyone. The ponies wish they'd done things differently and had been friends instead of enemies.
