The Bruz is a light-hearted tale about leadership. The novel examines Black male leadership through the eyes of Aiden "Fierce" Chance, a fraternity member at a small HBCU in Salisbury, NC. Aiden goes from academic golden boy to campus pariah after involving himself in a hazing incident. Aiden is constantly redeemed by his friendship bonds within the fraternity as he travels through the bumps and bruises of life. Aiden's final redemption, however, stretches his fraternal ties to the limit. The question is, will they break?
