It is the fall of 1963. America is recovering from the Cuban Missile Crisis; the Civil Rights Movement is heating up; the first U.S. troops are in Vietnam as "military advisors"; and the Beatles and Beach Boys are beginning to make a splash. Ghostwriter Jack Barstow, a Chicago native who has been living a quiet life in L.A. near the USC campus, suddenly has his life upended when his eventful past catches up with him. To evade the malicious intentions of his pursuers, Jack Barstow must marshal all his physical and mental resources. If Jack is to survive, he must be nimble and quick.
