A tragedy either brings a family closer together or causes separation. For Julie, her father's death caused separation and was the beginning of heartache, disbelief and unbelief. Her parents' protection was gone, and feelings surfaced she never realized existed. She turned to the Brook where she succeeded in keeping her father's memory alive, because of the enjoyable times they shared there.
