This was one of those feel good stories that you can reach for again and again ....

The Bridal Arrangement by Cindy Gerard Silhouette Desire # 1392 - September 2001 Lee came to the Shiloh Ranch as a foster child and stayed. When he was 15, his foster mother got pregnant with a miracle child, Ellie. Until Lee went off to college, he and Ellie were brother and sister. Ellie's just turned 20, her mother passed away a few years ago, and recently her father. Lee's come back to the ranch to fulfill a promise he made to his step-father, to always look after Ellie and to make the rundown ranch something again. Lee's come home to marry Ellie, something Ellie has dreamed of for years. And Lee wants very much for the marriage to work but he's scared to death because Ellie has epilepsy and he's not sure how to be her husband. This was a charming story. I'm not sure if this is my first from Ms.Gerard, but I'm sure it won't be my last! Ellie's spirit is as bright as the sun in the sky and she dazzles Lee with her country good sense and how lovely she is. Lee is petrified that he's rushed her into a marriage she's not ready for. This was an exceptional read. Ms Gerard dealt very well with Ellie's illness and raised real concerns for Lee. This was one of those feel good stories that you can reach for again and again

HEARTWARMING MAGIC!

Thirty three year old Lee Savage has come back to Montana, from Texas, to claim what was his -Shiloh Ranch and the previous owners daughter, Ellie.Ellie Shiloh, at nineteen, is the most up-beat younster, fast becoming a woman, that any of us have ever heard of. She has developed an inner strength to deal with her medical problem but has remained so innocent that she took Lee's breath away.He was a man destined not to give or share love with any woman, until Ellie taught him how to love. I guess sometimes it takes a little fear to teach a man what he could have and lose.Most wonderful, magical attitude I have ever read in a main character that touches your heart.Highly recommended - only the story was too short!

THIS BOOK IS PURE MAGIC !!! Not only is this a prime example of Cindy Gerard's great romantic writing, but this book will actually very likely change your life. The heroine is a sheltered young lady with a chronic medical condition that could affect any person's entire outlook on life, yet her courage and spirit and optimism and belief in life and people will fill the reader with heart bursting emotion and a belief in our fellow man. Something we can all use right now. It is a sure bet that you will never look at some of your friends and associates the same way again. I challenge you to read this book and not become a better person for it ... and to not believe that it is one of the most magical books you have ever enjoyed !!! Lee and Ellie will feel like special members of your family.
