All youth attending a summer camp hope for positive experiences. We follow twenty-two boy scouts and their adventures at a rustic camp, in the early 1950's, without electricity or running water. We watch them become fishermen, woodsmen, campers, and backpackers. For free time, when left to themselves, youth can be imaginative and resourceful. As with all successful camps there is a qualified adult leader. Dan is the planner, problem solver, cook, and trail guide. His hopes to add to the boys' camp experience leads to a dramatic ending.
