Boys from Baghdad

This was a good book. I enjoyed it Though I admit there was the usual British attitude.

Simon Tells It As It Is...

Far from being mere knuckle-draggers with guns, this book defines the multi-skilled roles required by a professional British contractor in a hostile, foreign environment. It's thoroughly laced with Simon's trademark salty, penetrating sense of humour and brutal honesty which allows the reader to experience the roller-coaster we all rode. I'm perhaps biased in my review, having been fortunate enough to have worked alongside Simon on both ASP2 in the desert outside Tikrit as well as the PSD-team mentioned. A huge grin cracked my face as I read his description of the contact on the Vortex and the various people involved - exactly as I remembered it from my position in Victor 2. Nice one, mate.

Running The Roads of Hell

Simon Low has written an outstanding book on his experiences as a security contarctor in Iraq.Simon goes into his background as a member of the French Foreign Legion and then takes the reader on a hell bent for leather ride through the mean streets of Iraq.He goes into detail about the heros, villains, and the duds.If you are considering security work I would recommend this book.
