A child once had an amazing talent for drawing. The pictures were so detailed and funny that everyone gathered to see them. At first, the drawings made people smile.
But soon, the child began drawing classmates in silly and embarrassing ways. Others laughed, but the children in the pictures felt hurt and ashamed.
One day, the young artist noticed that the laughter had faded. Friends were quieter. Some even stayed away. The talent that once brought joy was now causing pain.
Feeling sad and sorry, the child decided to change. New drawings were made-pictures that showed friends as heroes, athletes, and shining stars. Smiles returned. Friendships grew stronger.
The child learned an important lesson:
A talent is powerful.
When used to hurt, it creates sadness.
When used to help, it creates happiness.
