Have you ever set out to accomplish something significant in life? You did the math. You planned. You set aside time to take each step crucial to the process so that you could achieve your ultimate goal. Many of us have. But sometimes things happen that we didn't anticipate. Sometimes things happen that are outside of our control. At times our "significant something" relied on others; and others can fall short. For grownups, it might the goal of a successful business or a marriage or even a team project with an employer. For children, it might be a class project or starting a small business or even achieving a certain GPA in school. Life is full of surprises. Not everything can be planned for.

No matter our age in life, we all experience disappointment and ultimately the decision of how we'll respond. Do we throw away all of the hard work? Or do we learn from it, realign and keep pressing on? This fun book is a great little lesson for all of us. This book can apply to just about anything in life. For me, it was a divorce. I had built a life with her, adopted three amazing little miracles with her and planned an even bigger family.
