The Boundless

By: Shand, Lincoln

The timeline is fracturing. The Horde is advancing. And the sister he mourned is still alive.

Hunted across the five worlds, Dorik and his fellow outcasts are running out of time. Dorik has been named the Guide-the only one who can navigate the infinite, gnarled branches of the Boundless to find the single, narrow pathway where their world survives.

But the Horde is determined to destroy the Yuna from the inside out. Seeding confusion and treachery, they're determined to find the Boundless's center and unleash their devouring Spores across the branches of time.

As their paths converge, the Conjunction Born are thrust into the battle for their worlds' survival:

Timia must wield her terrifying mastery over the fabric of time to stop an inevitable collapse.

Cerric, pursued by the Horde's forces, races to find and warn the others of the enemy's plans-while struggling to forgive the man who betrayed him.

Alarea bends probability to her will, even as an assassin no one else can see hunts her.

Py turns her temporal lens toward the Boundless, calculating the arrival of an entity that will bring either their salvation or their destruction.

And Dorik's uncontrollable ability is the only thing standing between what was and what could be. To prevent total collapse, he faces an impossible choice: abandon his new friends to reach Odrid, or protect the present and watch his family-and Timia-perish as time unravels around them.

The Boundless is Book Two in The Root of Infinity, a four-book science fantasy series with a queer, multiracial ensemble cast. Perfect for readers who love magic braided with quantum mechanics, feared outsiders who become the last hope, and time-travel paradoxes that end in heartbreak.
