Well-written and so fun

This is one of the best books you could ever read besides the Bible, yet it has nothing to do with religion. Just some pets learning how to live with each other and their human family. I could reread it over and over again.

What an original and enchanting way to see the world from your loyal best friend's eyes. You will see your dog's life differently after reading this book and amuse yourself with their inner thoughts. I have definitely anthropomorphised my two sweet puppy dogs - you will be affected too!

What a beautiful book! It is wonderful for showing that life goes on no matter how many things change. My 10 year old son and I both loved this book. The story of the blended families - both human and animal - was a great example of how people (and animals) can work out their differences, learn to coexist peacefully, and adapt to change. The growth of the youngest dog was a nice example of how we have to learn to trust ourselves to be able to handle whatever life throws our way.
