Seriously Underrated Writer

This is a fascinating and unique novel with great character development, engaging storytelling, and stays with you long after you've finished. I've never read anything like this and I've read a lot. I believe Erica Swyler is among the best fiction writers of any age. I immediately came back here and bought her other two novels in stock.

Best new book!

At first I didn’t think I cared about circus stories, was I wrong. The way that Erika writes is fun, quirky, new, different and I am a voracious reader. This was fresh and fun, compelling. Could NOT put it down. I wanted more!!! Has humor, family dynamics, fascinating history, and a snap shot of the late 1700’s. The characters are not over written, just enough. The story weaves, always a fan of a great story weave, was perfect. Love love. My new gift to everyone of my bibliophile friends.

Loved it

I loved this story about the mysterious adventures of a gypsy caravan and also the lives of their descendants who are trying to understand their family history. heartwarming and at the same time a little creepy with an interesting plot

To say this book is amazing is a serious understatement! I absolutely loved 🥰 it with every fiber of my being. Honestly what’s not to love ❤️ here. There’s mermaids 🧜‍♀️, circus 🎪 acts, tarot 🃏readers, hexes, history and books 📚! Definitely a must read ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
